Brent J. Benoit, D.D.S, M.S.D.

Our smile is a huge component of who we are, and it is one of our greatest assets. It makes a great first impression and can light up a room. I strive to give all of my patients a smile they are happy to show off confidently and energetically.

I grew up with my mother as an orthodontic assistant which has directed me towards this amazing profession. After working as an orthodontic assistant in college, I knew orthodontics was my calling.

I am eager to improve my patients’ smiles esthetically and functionally. Whether young or old, I look forward to my time with patients and treating them as if they were my family. I seek to share my passion for orthodontics and overall oral health while still having fun along the way. I cannot wait to work with you and give you the smile you deserve!

BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Dr. Brent J. Benoit, originally from Houma, LA, graduated from Vandebilt Catholic High School and Louisiana State University. He received his dental degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 2015. Following graduation, Dr. Benoit completed an Implant Restorative Fellowship at LSU School of Dentistry in the Periodontics Department. He earned his Master of Science in Dentistry degree and certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from LSU School of Dentistry after completing a two-year residency in 2018. In April of 2019, Dr. Benoit received his Board Certification in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

  • Louisiana Association of Orthodontics
  • American Dental Association
  • Louisiana Dental Association
  • Bayou District Dental Association

Dr. Benoit is past president of the Bayou District Dental Association, a component of the Louisiana Dental Association. He currently serves as part-time faculty for the LSU Orthodontics Program at LSU School of Dentistry. 
 
Dr. Benoit’s hobbies include traveling, cooking, fishing and exercising. He is also a proud member of the 610 Stompers.
